this show turned out to be amazing. I got to see female musicians that I would have typically not been able to see. I also got the chance to perform at First Avenue - it's been a while.
I played with Alicia Wiley (keys), Corrina Malbourne (bass), and Barry Alexander (drums) - and my friend PaviElle French made a special appearance with me. She ROCKED! Of course.
I had a great time and can't wait to do it again. After our set we got lots of great feedback and I was on a high from the show for days. That's the best feeling. Some people from KQ's Homegrown show approached us to be on the show - so watch out for that. Hope that will be coming soon.
